In collaboration with the University of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Art, we are developing a broader project on ethics & AI. Over the past year, we explored the ethical challenges posed by the potential adoption of AI in accounting. Through in-depth elite interviews with experts and leaders from technology, business and finance, we tried to map the broader landscape of issues and ideas. Now, working with researchers, practitioners and experts, we want to build an appropriate prototype instrument to support clear, exploratory thinking around ethical challenges in the AI domain.
Our upcoming report – “Designing AI for professional values” – will summarise the key findings and insights that we hope will inform further work in this area. We invite you to take part in the discussion and become involved in this exciting project!
